SCHOOL ORGANISATION

Currently the school has 68 students with an entitlement to 3.6 teaching staff. This staffing entitlement enables us to organise the school into 3 fulltime classes.

They are as follows:

            Preps  & Grade1          - Mr Gary Boote

                                    Grades 2 & 3                - Mrs Jill Gayton

                                    Grades 4, 5 & 6            - Mr Tony Roberts / Mrs Debbie Hannington

In addition to the 3 fulltime staff members we have an additional teacher employed on a part time basis at 0.6.

In the junior rooms we employ Mrs Debbie Hannington 3 mornings a week to assist with the Early Literacy Program and help with the implementation of a reading intervention program.

Mrs Hannington also has responsibility for Science and Physical Education. She provides a specialist program in these areas to all classes as well as sharing the Grades 4, 5 & 6 classroom responsibility with the Principal.

The school offers a sequential programme in the 8 Key Learning Areas of English, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Physical Education and Health, The Arts, Studies of Society and the Environment and Languages Other Than English.. We are currently in transition to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards and School Accreditation.   Enrichment and support is provided through the music programme, clubs / craft programme, Religious Education, camping programme, Bike Ed. and Junior School Council.
